Unleash your inner creative through the exploration of process and materials in hands-on workshops.   Structured, informative and engaging experiences in acrylic painting, mixed media, collage and fiber art for all levels will enhance your creative confidence.   As a GOLDEN Artist Educator I have  skills to help you expand the way you use the vast array of versatile acrylic painting products.  My background as an educator includes:

•    more than thirty years teaching art with extensive experience guiding beginners just starting their creative journey to advanced students interested in learning new things.
•    many years of experience creating acrylic painting, mixed media, collage and fiber art and providing diverse learning experiences.
•    expertise in all things acrylic through certification in the GOLDEN Artist Educator Program from GOLDEN Artist Colors, Inc.

Workshops in acrylic painting, mixed media, collage and fiber art can be designed as custom on-site workshops for art centers, artist groups, office and corporate settings in New Orleans and beyond.

 Available workshops include:

• Drip, Splash, Pour   Participants will explore imaginative ways to drip, splash and pour High Flow and Fluid acrylics to create lively abstract art.

• Acrylic Explorations   Explorations into innovative ways to combine Fluid and High Flow acrylics with a variety of gels, pastes and mediums.

•  Abstract Art Adventures    Discover new directions for creating intuitive, abstract painting and collage.  Participants will explore the layering of color, texture and line for expressive effect. 

• Collage Explorations    Participants will create intriguing mixed media collage art using monoprints printed on Gelli plates with Golden Open Acrylics.  

• Shimmer and Shine    Learn to create beautiful and luminous effects with Golden Artist Color's Interference, Iridescent and other specialty paints.
